Our In-Office Surgical Suite

Our fully accredited, private, in-house Upper East Side surgical suite offers our patients the convenience and flexibility that’s not available with other plastic surgeons who operate within a hospital. We choose not to use a hospital OR for a number of reasons:

  • Cleaner environment.
    Hospitals can be more open to infections.
  • Maximum flexibility.
    In a hospital setting, doctors have to schedule within the hospital’s availability.
  • Less costly.
    The anesthesiologist in a hospital is paid a fee by the hour. Whereas our OR anesthesiologist is on a meter with a set fee schedule, so if a procedure demands additional time it can become more-costly.
  • Greater control of patient’s needs.
    If patients have a pre-existing heart or blood condition, patients would incur additional fees in a hospital for taking the necessary time to see to that patient’s needs.
